i have an fd and i don't want to mess anything up, so does anyone know the correct way to get these side ducts off the front fenders....thanks for your help...

take the fenders off there 2 tiny screws and a clip securing them on

 

Really? I have popped mine out several times by just tugging on them. The little 'vents' would sometimes fall into the fender, until I glued them in place on the assembly.

You can simply pull on them, there's a metal clip at the front and two plastic inserts at the middle. Problem is (as always), the plastics tend to snap off if you pull on them.

No matter how you get them off, you should look to strengthen the plastic tabs -- glue or j weld or whatever.

If you grasp the inlet and pull towards the rear of the car, they will pull right out.

 

wait. are you talking about the actually vents in the vent itself or the vent cover piece?

 

the piece that you see on the car with the mesh net in it...the whole vent...
