I know this may be a long shot but I was wondering if anyone recognized my old car or would possibly know who currently owns it. Unfortunately I do not have the VIN anymore so if the car has been changed over the years i am more than likely out of luck. Anyways, it was sold in NC in 2008-2009 and I believe made its way up to PA. I would love to track this thing down and purchase it back if possible I have attached some pictures.
You may want to see if you have old insurance paperwork or may want to call your insurance company, they would have had the VIN when you had it. If you have a VIN that may make it a lot easier to track down or at least get a status on it.
Per the pics you posted, there are some helpful clues that may catch someone's eye on just not looking for a bone stock VR in a hay stack as in the music system for example.
I was lucky enough to hang on to an old insurance card in a somewhat similar situation of a car I sold in 2004. As Dale said, try the insurance company or maybe an old email for your purchase or your sales transaction back then.
Unfortunately I do not have an old insurance ID card or picture of the VIN. I will see if I can contact the insurance company but that may be a long shot since I was on my parents insurance at the time (dang high school kids).

If your parents still use the same insurance co. and they have an online account with them, they could probably look up their policy history for you and find the VIN that way if it's not too many years back. It all depends on the insurance company and how long they hold on to old records like that.
UPDATE!!! I was able to track down the VIN through the old insurance company (thanks for the idea). The VIN is JM1FD3314P0201270 Thanks again for the help guys.

I love seeing post with guys tracking down their old cars. Helps reassure the decisions I make regarding my car and making sure I hold on to it forever.
On a side note, OP how on earth did you live in a house that consisted of a NC State and Tar-Heels fan?
