Been awhile since I have spoken to you guys but I am back and in need of some serious help.

I am going to try and give as much detail as I can.

The car has been down for 3 or 4 months now. I was having a coolant leak and some other issues and decided to take the car down and fix everything at once during the AZ summer. A buddy and I changed the thermostat, added in a temp gauge sensor, added in an EGT gauge sensor, put the IM back on after trying to fix an idle prob, took the cat off to get ready for a new one, changed the oil, diff. fluid , and refilled the coolant. A few days ago we finished getting everything back together and were ready to start it up. It cranked over like it wanted to start but never would. We probably tried it 5-10 times. We checked and checked a bunch of different things. We decided to change the plugs (old anyway) b/c I figured they were soaked. All four were definitely drenched with oil and fuel and even a few were dripping. I cranked it over some with the plugs out and tried to get some fuel out of the chambers. The rotors seemed to be compressing fine from what I could hear. We installed new plugs and cranked 5-10 times again. It was basically the same way as before.

We finally found a connector from the IM that I had forgot to reconnect (go figure, something small like that). I connected it and thought that that surely would be the problem. Well this time it did seem to have a little more and a few times even got the lights inside to come on but never would start. I am thinking i can check the new plugs to see if they are flooded now but not for sure it is worth it. Before taking it down I had no problems starting the car. This is a new issue. Are taking the plugs out and putting ATF, MM oil worth the hassle? Does it truely help in this situation. I am having a hard time believing that it is a problem of something I didn't mess with. To me that would be one big coincidence and I would rather not go messing up things that are fine. Not sure if I am getting spark but during alot of the cranks I am getting a decent amount of smoke so something is burning.

If anyone has any info they can give me I would appreciate it. If you need more info, just let me know. Sorry for the long post.

The last time mine did that it had a blown engine, but you said it ran before you disassembled it? If you have a service manual look in the fuel section and pull the fuel pump fuse. Then try a compression test or take out the trailing plugs one at a time. Crank it over and listen for an even pattern of hissing sounds coming from the empty spark plug hole.

Charge your battery and try again, I once had to try to start it about 40 times (i **** you not) and it finnaly started and has been running fine ever since.

Note: This was a one time freak accident type of thing and I never got to find what was wrong cuz it seems to have fixed itself, this was about 5 months ago btw.

Keep trying and pump your accellerator a little bit. I'm thinking your fuel lines are dry.
