Exclamation Help!! FD lights on all the time

Just received my FD freshly shipped from Florida and it won't start!! #%$(# The battery was dead and when I tried to jump it, it turned over but never caught even once. This car had been inspected a little over a week ago and ran fine. Is there some kind of stock security system that might do a fuel cut?? Also, when the key is not in the ignition and all the doors are closed, all the running lights are on. The airbag, brake, charge etc are all on. Anybody have any idea what is going on??

P.S. Jason, do u make house calls to Dayton??!!

OK, latest update. The car is completely stock, We got it off of the shipping trailer and the battery is completely dead. The guy tries to jump it, but it will not catch. Sounds like it is getting no gas. Get it home and hook up the battery charger. All the warning lights are on, no key in the ignition. Tried the radio, turns on and then fades out, hear a couple of clicks in the engine and the radio goes on again. Keeps on doing this with all warning lights on. Do I have a short?? Is this car even salvagable??

Are the lights set to "on"? Look at the left stalk on the stearing column. There's a twist ****. Having left that on would definitely kill the battery and show you all the lights when hooked up to a charger. Try a fresh battery.

All the RX-7s that I have owned would not start without a fully charged battery. I'd definately replace the battery if it won't hold a full charge. Try pulling it out and charging it. Then take it to Autozone and have them run a load test (free). That will tell you if it's good or bad.

I agree with the others on the lights issue. Check all of those out and if you can't figure it out. PM me.
