HELP changing belts

I did alot of searching, and no one ever says how to actually do it. I got the belts. I removed the belt for the AC / PS ( the front one) without too much difficulty by using the idle pulley tension adjuustment. now, how do I get the other belt off>? I saw what looked like a tension adjust on the alt., but nothing happend when I loosened the bolt. it just came loose and I couldn't slide anything. I really need some advice here, and photos even if you know a how-to site. thank you so much!

Umm the alternator is a 2 bolt task. One is the adjuster part, and the other is at the pivot point on the alternator. Both must be loose for it to move. I think that the air pump also is set up like this too, but I haven't had an airpump in a few years so I don't remember.

Good luck!

this stupid bolt at the pivot point, the one right near the radiator filler neck, is a real bitch. I have a strut bar one my car, and I am guessing I need to remove that, and all the intercooler hoses. I cannot get this bolt to budge.
