help! CEL comes on intermittenly and running super rich
so i've been trying to pass emissions for the last few days but to no avail..
the first time around i had failed miserably due to bad cats, so i had that replaced.
second time, i barely failed with my CO reading too high.
third time, decided to change the O2 sensor and plugs and gave it a go. didnt bother resetting the ECU and of course, failed miserably.
after that, decided to reset the ECU and now my car is running like ****.
I've had the CEL light come on intermittenly, car would stall, and also stumble (followed by CEL light).
The car currently runs tooo rich (by smell of exhaust and also the backfiring on the car while at idle). Any ideas as to what my problem is? My car is 100% stock. :s
I'm bringing it in tmrw to a shop that deals with rotaries, but I'd like to at least get an idea of what's going on.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
