Help with brake pedal assembly removal

I'm making at AT to MT swap and have replacement pedals. I've removed all 6 nuts and the upper bolt from the break assembly and its loose. I just can't figure out how to get it off the braket on the steering column. Any help? I'm tempted to start dismantelling the dash. Thanks, Lee

Had the same problem. Bringing it up again for future searchers.

You need to drop the steering column. In order to do so, remove the plastics under the steering column. Theres only 2 screws. Also remove the plastics around the steering wheel, there are 3 screws on the bottom.

To drop the steering column, there are 2 bolts holding it in. It's easier if you move some of the harnesses that are in the way. The blue harness mounted to the white plastic bracket can just be pulled straight down and then you can take off the bolts.

Once the column is down, you can wiggle the brake pedal out.
