window

The motor on my passenger side decided to give out after 30K on my FD(95 White Touring, original owner). You can try swapping out the fuse that controls the driver side window motor. An indication that it is the window motor, the wondow
would slowly go down making a sluggish noise. (This does seem to be the case)
You say that the window does not even move when you push down on the control. What it is sounding like is the connection is bad. You will need to take the interior door paneling off and check to make sure that the connectors click when you push them together securing a feed to active the window motor.

Hope this helps

Congratulations on the car. Sounds nice. Check the fuse, but otherwise I'd pull the door panel, check the connections and check for power to the motor and work backwards. Maybe this will help.
