Help!
well, i done my swap, i have fixed all my codes, that were 19, 30, 33, and 39, i just put new plugs in, map sensor it hook, and my car still idles rough, and sputters horribly, like its loses power, when i rev it, it does this about 2200 rpms, and if i hit the gas pedal quick, it rev good, but the light still come on, but if i hit it slow, it shakes very bad, but never dies, and when i rev it and the check engine light blinks, but dont stay on, like i said i have no codes now, and i dont know where to start, it ran fine and strong when i brought it into the garage, i dont know, bad gas? water in it? vacuum leak, i have been though the whole thing? i dont know, anyone?
thanks

What are you running for Fuel Management? Stock ECU ? You did the swap yourself? Check all vacuum lines, also how violent is it when it idles is it real lumpy and violent, is it smoking, does it just have a speratic idle that jumps all the time? Look at your plugs to see how they look, check the grounds, what does it smell like? And how hard is it to get it started ?

hey twintriangles, im running a stock ecu, i changed my auto ecu out with the manual ecu, did the swap myself, pretty sure on the vacuum hoses, i have been through them several times.
the idle is not that bad, just kind of cuts out and jerks a little.
its normal gray, exhaust smelling smoke, it always smoke when i first start the car, and than after about 10 min. it warms up, and clears up, i think that normal, mine has always did that, is that normal?
i just put new plugs in, the old ones, (only had 5000 miles on them, had a bunch of black carbon on them, but i put the new ones in today, and they did not help.
and it seems i can smell a little more than normal exhaust, but that might be bc i have it in my garage, even though the door is open.
it starts up fine, just great.
the engine only has about 14000 miles on it, and a gutted out down pipe, and a BOV, it ran fine before i pulled it into the garage, but it did have a slightly rough idle.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO TRY TO HELP HERE! im ready to get this thing on the road.
thanks,
paul

cover8, i checked the 3 harnesses and they were plugged in, in the correct order.
93black fd, i just put new plugs in, and what do u mean, see if the order looks right?
guys, i cranked it this morning, and the problem was worse, i had a good idle with little problem, not the idle is bad, very lumpy, about ready to die it feels, and cut off, i have no idea, im wondering if the manual ecu i got might be bad, is there anyway of testing it, and i still have my auto ecu that worked fine, i tried to hook it back up and see wha it would do, but the car would not even crank, is there some way to get the auto computer to work in the car, just to see if that is my problem, guys, im getting lost here, PLEASE KEEP ON HELPING! and thanks so far.

don't race, don't need to
Actually, the air pump is supposed to turn off above 3250 rpm, according to the manual. I'm wondering... have you gone and checked the throttle position sensor? I know you didn't change it's position, but the new ECU may be looking for different values here. Look in the manual as to how to test this thing. Pretty much just throwing ideas out here...
