Help!
Because I don't have the experience, the tools, or a second car, I let Mazda replace the lower intake manifold gasket on my '94 Touring. Since the "repair", I've had turbo woes: First, it had no umph at high rev's, which Mazda diagnosed as a loose vacuum hose and "fixed"; next, it had no umph at low rev's and white smoke coming from under it's hood. The coolant level was not low and the water temperature was normal; so, I don't think the engine was overheating.
1) Could the smoke have been coming from the turbos?
2) If so, are they spent?
3) If so, is it Mazda's fault?

i would check to see if the car is leaking anyfluids ie oil, coolant. becuase these lines must be removed if you remove the turbos. then i would also check to see if mazda actually put the new gasket on the lim. make sure its metal too....the paper one is just asking for trouble. if it is a paper one does anybody know if it will smoke like when you put on new heat wrapping?
