Read the stickies at the top and there is no such thing as an RX7 type R you are probably referring to an R1/R2.

What year did you get? R1s are from 93 or I guess 92-93 over there and R2s are after that. R packages have front lip spoilers and different rear spoilers from factory, dual oil coolers, and stiffer suspension. If you have a newer one it might be a type RZ or a Spirit R or such.

Yeah, you are probably right, just thought a would list a couple possibilities given the minimal information of the original post.

i know that its only the type r over here that has got twin turbo`s,i know that there where only a very few actual uk models, which came with leather inside, but they were`nt as high hp. so thats why i got a jap 1. But it aint standard, got veilside skirts & spats on it & a mazda speed front.

No matter where you all, all 3rd gen RX7s came stock with twin turbos. Read the stickies like I told you before, you can probably find a lot of this info in there.

juggs is correct... his 93 still classifies as a Type-R in his country... The RX-7 was named differently around the world.
The classification doesn't differ too much... But in essence, he's got an RX-7 Type-R for that model year...
They started to get elaborate as the years went by... Type-RB, Type-RZ, Type-R-Bathurst... The list goes on... Till eventually it ends at RX-7 Spirit R Type A! LOL

And yes, you can get a good overall picture from the stickies at the top of this section...

Yeah, he is right, there is a Type-R, not the R1/R2. Overseas had to have a ricey name like Type-R.
