The Heating system and the AC system are two separate systems. Your AC problem is most likely a freon problem.

Your heater system is something totally different though. I will share with you my experience with my heating system. Last winter I installed a Koyo radiator and a set of CWR oil coolers. Ever since then my heater has not worked as well as it did before the coolant upgrade. This is especially evident at highway speeds. I reasoned that my heater doesn't work as well because my Koyo is keeping my coolant temperature cold enough to effect the efficiency of the heater core. This is compounded by a cold outside air temperature and is especially eveident a sub freezing temperatures.

I don't know if this will help you but I thought I would share.

FD heater core sucks! After the fluidyne and fan controlled to run at 185 deg F, it hasn't blown hot air, just lukewarm air.

Wear a coat in the winter and drive naked in the summer: That's what I do but for some reasons people around me don't seem to appreciate it in the summer, well at least the men ...

check your a/c fuse. I had my car re-charged for 120 bucks and after the guy did it, he let me know that the only reason it hadn't been working was because my fuse had blown.
