heater inop

heater never ever blows hot...only barely warm on a hot summer day....any suggestions???

naw thermostat is new.......custon made a 160 degree...thinking i should probably go back to the 190 tho since my car runs soo much cooler now...

Lines are most likely plugged. Search on heater not working...there is a great thread on flushing your lines.

First, do you know if the HVAC controls are switching to heat (i.e. do you know if those are working)?

Next, you'd need to check to see if your heater core is clogged.

i chked the switching of them and the movement under the dash of the blend door and it was going full swing both ways....ima chk the lines tonite when i get home...thanks again

i have the same problem. full blast and it takes around 30mins to get a lil hot air.
