Exclamation Heater core/Climate control problems!

Hey, well just like the title says Im having some problems with either my heater core or climate controls or something. First off theres always heat blowing out of the defrost vents as if the fan was on the lowest speed, second the temp control doesnt work anymore its just always hot air and never blows cold, third the location control (defrost/feet) doesnt change anymore. I have been searching around and it sounds like it could maybe be a fuse but I dont think thats what it is for how many problems there are. Any and all advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Get a copy of the Body Electrical Troubleshooting Manual and a volt-ohm meter and start doing diagnostics. It could be the switch, could be the stepper motor, could be the wiring, etc.

I'm having the same problem and i'm roasting in my car. No a/c so this just makes it much worse. It's like my heater has a mind of it's own. i set it to defrost or face and it doesn't switch. sometimes it does, but more often than not it doesn't.

It is always blowing hot air onto my feet and out of the defrost. It's almost painful to drive my car now.
