Heated O2 sensor or unheated...

I'm thinking about switching to a heated O2 sensor....will it make a difference on my FD? I know the obviouse...the O2 gets to operating temps much faster but what else...as far as performance wise...? Also I remember reading about fellow FD owners using the Heated O2 sensor of a Ford Escort am I correct or am I inhaling too much FD exhaust fumes...? If I'm correct could someone tell me what the part number is and how to install the wiring....mainly the the two other wires besides the signal wire. Espcially the 12v wire.....where do u tap into...? Thanx Tony

I have a heater O2 sensor from Pettit. Can't say I notice any difference. Seems to run different when cold but I need to switch back to the stock to tell for sure. The Pettit one is from a Corvette and connects the same as the stock except for a ground and a power wire connected to the test socket near the battery.
