Lightbulb Headlights and lenses

I just tried ANOTHER set of aftermarket bulbs and still feel the headlights suck. As mentioned by others before, it must be the lenses themselves that are poor. The way our lights are made we could easily swap the lenses from another car if they would fit.

Anybody have the resources to figure out of we can make another car's glass and lense fit in ours? I am going to start looking at other cars on the street more closely...

I love the sleek look, but for that amount of coin I will buy suspension goodies. Or wheels. Or a bunch of tires

I am looking for cheaper; I know the HID kits are about $500 and that is steep too.

You don't want that. I've talked to people who have that kit and they say the lighting is actually worse than stock.

Hey SPOautos go to ebay they have Phillips HID kits for a little less than $500. Friend has exact same kit for the car on his civic (it uses H4 bulb I think) and it works great so far.

I hear those HID catch on fire rather easily if not set up correctly

the phillips kits on ebay are retrofit h4 kits, they should not be very difficult to install properly. those newer kits are pretty much "plug and play." before the older hid kits might have caught fire easily by poor setup because they required a little bit of fabrication to get the different type of bulb to fit the housing, but the phillips kits are already fitted for the certain type of bulb.
