Headlight problem

Anybody else have issues with one of their headlights flipping up and down for a while before sticking in the up position. Kinda like when the alarm goes off, only just one of them does it for a little while. Sometimes it takes a little playing with to get it to stay up. I know there is another local guy here with the same problem only it usually happens when his car gets wet. Mine does it all the time. I'm guessing a bad ground or something.

hmm, sounds like my problem from a few months ago. they would work and stay up when the car got wet(really soaked). As it turns out, the signal wire in the main harnes(driver side) was sheared off by friction from the tire.
Easy fix! Just remove the fender liner. take the electrical tape off and look for damaged wires. In my case, it was the one wire that was cut. I simply spliced a piece of wire in place and havent had a problem since!

Before you do any of that, you might wanna check your relay...think its easier to replace if its bad but i doubt thats the problem.
Good luck

Its a problem with many fds , my one does it now and then , turn the lights on and one light goes up and stays up like it should and the other one goes up and down about 8 times before it stops in the up position. Im thinking the switch/sensor? that tells it when its up must be dirty/wet and not working right.
