Headlight Mod

What are the approximate dimensions of FD headlight buckets? This HID kit is made for C5 Corvettes, and I'm wondering if FDs have similar dimensions...

Actually, that's a C5.

I don't think those will fit.

Yep and yep. The C5 lights are much wider.

Try something for a firebird. Theyre roughly the same size as ours.

bringing this back from the dead... I measured the headlight glass and it is about 7.75" wide and around 5" tall if I remember correctly. Can any one confirm this? The reason I ask is there are several replacement housings available on ebay with projectors built in for cheap...cheap enough to try out, but they all say 7x6. Has anyone tried these before?

If so it's gonna be ghetto as hell. The headlight cover is a complex shape with compound curves. Hell, the kits MADE for the FD usually don't fit worth a crap.

I like the popups .
