Question Headlight bulb installation...

Okay... I'm embarassed to ask... BUT, I bought a set of nice replacement headlight bulbs, and attempted to put them in last weekend. I figured it would be pretty straight forward and took apart my headlight (mostly)... I got to a point where the bulb was firmly sitting behind a rubber "seal" I guess... and the front of the headight assembly doesn't come apart so easily either.

SO, before I started to unscrew everything else... and pop things apart and all that crap... can someone educate me as to how exactly I go about doing this? I seem to remember the guy I bought the car from a few years back mentioning how much of a bitch it was to get the bulbs in. So I hope I'm not the only one.

Btw... I downloaded every PDF manual I could find and they don't seem to have anything covering headlights in there. If anyone has that part... feel free to email it to me!

Thanks!
Steve

remove the rubber seal. there is a spring clip which is hinged and will swing out of the way once you disengage it. unplug the bulb and remove it, insert new bulb and reverse the process. make sure you don't touch the new bulbs with your fingers. That's all there is to it
