head lights freaking out... please help

about two months ago i pulled my motor due to it blowing up, and i rebuilt it and placed it back in the car, didnt change much. and now when i put power to the car the head lights freak out, what can i look for to fix this problem..

Be a lil more specific.... what do you mean 'freak out'? Factory alarm maybe?

Possibly the headlight relay with lots of moisture in it ? ? ? Try pulling the relay and see if it quits, if it does then swap that relay with another one from a diffrent area.

Yeah - what does 'freak out' mean? Do they start cying for their mommy?

If they pop up and down repeatedly accompanied by a honking horn, I would check the stock alarm. Do a search for 'stock alarm headlights'.

sorry guys i was in a hurry, the head lights are popping up and down but not with each other, and no horn....my center arm rest was apart and the alarm light wasnt hooked up any relatioin

well them not going together is no biggie. if you make them or the alarm makes them go up and down repeatedly and fast enough, you'll get them outta sync. you can do it with the manual switch, or alarm. my miata does it too. hook batt and then try to unlock driver door with key. if not pull relear open it up and dry it out. worst case check the switch on dash.
