Exclamation Have you done the hose job?

If so I need your help. I can't find where the hoses go for the solinoid (A ) in the vacuum hose diagram. It's for the pressure control but I see no nipple for the front nor the back hose. Is it in a non visible area? It's for the solinoid that is closest to the firewall. Need help must finish by Friday!

I just finished mine last weekend. I'm not quite sure about what hose you are talking about but check out this diagram http://www.robrobinette.com/cgi-bin/i/images/hoses.gif
The owners manual also has the same diagram but it is a little bit clearer. Hope this helps

Thats the same diagram I'm using. But I still can't find it. If you follow the hoses from solinoid A, one goes to the press control but the other one just kinda dissapears. So I'm thinking that the nipple for that hose is not visible but I'm feeling my way around and can't find it. Damn I promised my sponsor that I would be at Nopi, and I still gotta put my radiator in.

there is a nipple at the rear of the manifold, you may have to remove metal intake pipe to 2ndary turbo to see it,

What about the 2nd hose from that same solinoid? I can't find where that goes. Thanks in advance!

I did the vac hose replacement myself 2K miles before my car went to KD Rotary for a motor swap...When I got it back, I noticed a intake leak between the upper and lower manifold....I replaced the gasket....When It was off I noticed that Dave at KD had taken the vac hose off the solinoid and remaped it too a different area under the ACV...I called him and asked him if this was correct...He said it was remapped to a different area because of the simpicity....It was ok...Runs great

Maybe thats what Pettit did w/ mine? Maybe thats why I can't seem to match up all the hoses w. a nipple. I seem to be having One extra nipple on the solinoid (other than the ones for auto.) and one nipple that I can't find on the lower manifold. man this sucks!

To do my own hose job, what length's (approx) and sizes will I need to do it? I've been wanting to get it done since I've had the car...
