i changed the turbos this weekend.... took the down pipe off and somehow misplace the gasket??? i put the down pipe back on w/o the gasket b/c i was tired of my car being down for two weeks... a little smoke at start up but when everthing burned off it stooped smoking...is it ok to just leave it like that or will it start smoking??? thanks for your help in advance...i know i feel like a moron, so flame away if you must

I'd replace it also. You've got 900 degree exhaust gasses seeping out into the engine bay. Can't be good!

 

thanks for the input.....back to the drawing board....hey car runs strong as **** though.. it will be worth it.
