have a question
today I started my car it had been sitting for a while so the battery was drained I put in on the charger for about ten minutes then used the jumpstart option on the charger to start the car when it started it made a loud noise that i had not heard before then it blew white smoked for about 5 minutes the noise was like a pop kind off like a backfire but it sounded like if it was right under me
have any of you ever experience something like that? and should I be worried next time I start it?
after it warmed up it sounded normal

If you have the stock pre-cat and cat, they might be clogged depending on age and mileage of your car, so that might have caused the backfire and smoke from burning excess fuel. If everything seems fine now, I wouldn't worry too much, but also might want to change your coolant if it hasn't been changed in a year and it's been sitting a while. You should read the FAQ section too It's pretty obvious when reading a post from someone who is asking a question, to know if they in fact have read the FAQ section (which contributes as to why others may post in response or NOT) - which will lead you on many countless hours of wonderful bliss reading about your most prized possession (OK, maybe not MOST prized, if you are a guy LOL ... but it might be that [ lowers tone of voice to enhance sarcasm ] "your engine needs a rebuild" ..
