Ok I just pulled off my two intercooler pipes to give them a fresh coat of paint. When I put them back on i didint use silicone on the throttle-body and intercooler pipe joining it, do you need to?(there are remains of silicone). I started it the following happened. The auto warm up did not engage, the car was running roughly, and making only 10InMg (normally around 20 it think). Also was blowing lots of white smoke.

Does anyone know what is wrong with my motor? Its got 2K miles on it.
Turbos are in good condition also.

check to see if you knocked off your map sensor hose, since you were working in that area.

other than that, sounds like what a ton of other people have described to be a blown motor

 

Sorry where can i find that? what does it look like? **** i hope its not a blown motor casue it was runnning fine laast week, and when i turned it off last week it was fine also,.

 

do you have a T II or an fd? on the fd its mounted on the firewall right behind the intercooler elbow, should say mazda/ boost on it and have a nipple on the bottem

about 1 in by 2 in by 1/2 in thick
