Has anyone used Atkins "dimpled" Solid Corner Seals

Hey i used atkins new "dimpled" solid corner seals on my previous motor build but i broke them. Im not saying that they are bad and i believe i broke them because i had a lot of problems in the motor to start with, especially my hks twin power going out and detonating at higher rpms. The reason for this thread is has anyone else broke them? and compared to their old solid "dimpless" corner seals which do you guys prefer. My previous motor was 3mm seals with the dimpled corner seals with half bridged motor. This time im going 2mm seals with either dimpled or dimple less corner seals, still with the half bridge. are the dimpled ones weaker? What would you guys recommend.

Thank You,
XxJaPxOxNeEs23xX

What they said. I used them and they stick. OE is the best for low to high hp applications.

Never had them stick but they do seem to wear the irons faster than the stockers. I think Atkins offers the factories with rubber inserts for around $95.00 or so. You arent saving much using the Atkins corners.

The only reason i was thinking solid was for the inserts. i didnt want the inserts slipping through the ports or burning away and having a gap in the corner seal. its also not for money either, i mean yes i would like to save money but haha i didnt buy solid for the price. and so my main debate was dimpled or non dimple. if not i think i do have brand new stock oem ones laying around

Your reasons don't matter much, just don't use them.

the IRP Stage 3+ intake ports are fairly large, and we've had zero problems using the oem corner seals with the plugs. Do you have a half bridge?

I'm using atkins solid corner seals. I have almost 3k on my stock rebuild and no issues with them so far.
