Has anyone seen this clutch or used it yet?

It looks like it might just be the pineapple disk, but I though it was only available in a unsprung version. And I don’t recall Rob saying it was rated for 800HP.
It is making some pretty hefty claims, and looks to be reasonably priced if you are resurfacing it.

If it is just the pineapple clutch with a newly added sprung hub, would this help in the harsh engagement that people complain about with the pineapple clutch?

edit: link isnt working let me see if i can find a way to link it properly

Now that I think of it, I don’t think it could be the pineapple one, because it is a fibrous material. From what I remember it is the same material that they use on tractor trailers from what I remember.

What are your guys thoughts on a bronze puck disk?
Seems like it would wear quickly.
Are there any other similar products out that use this kind of material that I have not seen?

ive seen them clutches,,,,ceremetallic paddles clutch,,,,they last quite well but chew up flywheels quite quickly,,,, not bad clutch bite with the springs and will cope with massive horsepower if combined with a strong pressure plate

No one has tried these? I wonder if they work as well as they claim for all us shifting impaired people that don’t like on/off engagement.

6-puck disks engage like a light switch, I had one on my old car, they can hold a lot of power though, that one has a sprung hub so it wouldn't be quite as bad but in traffic or on a hill that could be verry annoying.

Ya that’s why I was posting about it, they claim that it engages close to stock and holds the power, which I would like, and frankly I don’t believe it. I guess to get any info on it I will just have to get it and try it out.
Luckily the store is not to far from me, maybe there will be a car with relatively the same HP as me and I can see what it will do before purchasing it and throwing it in there and seeing if its claims are BS or not.

I am sure it looks a lot like any 6 puck clutch, but it is the material that I question. I don’t think I have ever heard of a puck clutch made of brass or containing brass as a binder. I can only assume that it must wear quickly and that if it does indeed hold the power, and have the ability to be slipped like stock when taking off but have enough grip not to slip when fully engaged without the need for a very heavy pressure plate would be the best of both worlds. But rarely do we ever get our cake and eat it too.

i will talk to the guys at HPF and see what they have to say though i am sure i will get the hype talk with no real basis for their claims.

brass puck clutches are pretty common in australia, pretty much everyone uses them. i have one in my fd, engagement is not bad but in no way like a stock clutch. there are guys here running 9's with that sort of clutch plate.
