Has anyone relocated thier air temp sensor???
hey guys I was wondering it anyone has relocated thier air temp sensor?
I'm in the middle on swaping my motor and have my wire harness laying on a bench. I was wondering if anyone mounted thiers in the Greddy elbow or something like that. What I'm wanting to know is how much length did you need to add, my motor isnt here so I cant really measure that well, I just need a good idea. Also what kind of wire did you use? Did you solder the connections or just crinp, ect
Thanks,
STEPHEN

Yeah I did and just picked the car back up. I can find out what the guy did but my car was in the shop for another reason and I asked him to relocate it to theElbow. He said it was simple. I'll call him when I get a chance if someone doesn't answer first.

i ended up using an ATS from a series 4 in mine. the standard one is to slow to react. i placed in the greddy elbow.
Just had to get my ecu calibrated to suit the different resistance.
