Just curious as I am rebuilding my motor with these and seeing the condition of the stockers was quite depressing after "only" 80k miles or so. They were basically mush and I haven't EVER overheated my car.

Not yet. Pineapple installed the upgraded silicon O-rings in my my car. I am also running Evans NPG+ coolant at their suggestion. Check this out: www.evanscooling.com

I've only had my reebuilt engine in my car for +/- 5000 miles.
