If they are from Leatherseats.com then they are somply awesome ! I have bought three sets and they fit like a glove, better than OEM and well worth the money. I got black/blue, red/black and black.

has anyone put black leather on tan seats? Just wondering what it would look like with the tan plastic on the seats. I have yet to find a quality paint that wouldn't rub off.

Just paint the set plastics with Duplicolor bumper and trim paint. Its meant to adhere to plastic and is durable enough to withstand anything that the seats plastics would see. Make sure to clean well and use the adhesion promoter too.

Yep, the ones from leatherseats.com are very nice. A buddy of mine bought some from that company and had them professionally installed. They were like new; very good quality leather.

Having had numerous conversations with the guy at leatherseats.com, i can tell you that this ebay person is not him...... just by the grammatical errors alone.

Are you getting the china seats or the leatherseats.com seats?

Every shop will be different. You will need to call around and get different quotes. Each shop has different "specialties" and they may even offer you a good price on them making your covers for you with guaranteed fitment. Look at all of your options.

cool, I'll give it a go.

I'm swapping my tan interior for black... do you think this paint would hold up on the foot kick panels?

I would get the leatherseats.com covers as they seem to look close to factory and the fitment seems good. but like you said I"ll explore all the options when ready.

Have you considered this option on rx7.com ?

http://rx7.com/store/rx7/fdinterior_accessories.html

Does anyone have experience with these to comment on the quality?

lol, if you're really serious about buying a set from this guy, by the pics of his customers' cars, I'd hit up the 350z club and ask around.

I can tell you that you will be completely satisfied with leatherseats.com
those guys are all about quality.
I have a set in my FC, installed them myself, and they are great. The FD is actually an easier install.

Hard to say, I'll probably do it. Since you have to sell a kidney to afford black interior parts.

I bought the ones you referenced from the Gainesville addrress. They were less expensive than Leatherseats.com and Katzkins.

I just finished the install and am overall happy with the product.
The one caution I would have is to make sure the seller somehow identifies which is driver and which is passenger.
Before I bought, I contacted some of his previous customers and two of them said they had received two of the same side covers. When I got mine, I had real trouble trying to id which was which and I'm still not sure I got them right.
They are not "perfect" matches to the original, some holes have to be cut but they are out of sight and not a real problem.. zHopefully one of these links will work for a picture.

Thanks!

You can see that I had a problem with the "seat belt" holder on the passenger seat. You really have to be careful taking them off, the plastic posts can break easily and also the plastic cover (outboard) piece is easy to break too. If you decide to do the mod, let me know and I'll show you what I learned for next time.

Has any body bought just one side? I emailed them but have not received a reply. I remember going to a local professional upholstery shop and they wanted like $1k per seat. I didn't want to redo the whole seat, just the worn section. He said it the leather won't match and will look bad. I said ok, match the other section opposite of the worn one and use a tougher leather or suede. The conversation translated to too much work for too little money. Buy a whole new set or leave.

In that picture the driver side looks kinda loose and the passenger side looks tight. You bought their tools and did it yourself?
