Yeah, but as far as i know, there are some MAIN pulleys that don't require the e-shaft bolt to be loostened... do they yield the same HP?

I'm using the full pulley set with no air pump so had to use a Greddy w/p pulley for belt contact purposes. I have no alt. charging problems, cooling problems at idle or belt slipage at high rpm - this is using Evans in a Koyo rad and CWR dual oil coolers. Sorry, no dyno comparisons.

Not sure about that, but the rx7.com underdrive pulley and pettit pulley both do not require removal of the nut. I've got the pettit one on now since I couldn't get the UR to break loose. I should have weighed them to see how they compare. I can't recall the dia. being different for the pullies, so the belt size should be the same for both pullies.

loosing weight would free up parasitic hp losses same as a lightened clutch
the engine doesnt produce more horsepower per se but more get s to the wheels

Still waiting on WeaponrRX7's dyno results....

Decided to do a few 40-80 mph runs this morning. The following are the average results of runs with all belts on vs runs with the ac/ ps belt removed. I did all the runs in the same direction on the same surface. 4 runs for each set up...data is from PFC datalogs

with all belts 5.39s 39.95(speed range from 40-80mph) Boost .74 Air Intake temp 47.5c
minus 1 belt 5.43s 40.05(speed range from 40-80mph) Boost .75 Air Intake temp 47.25c

I know this thread is months old, but I'm still researching the Main Pulley and noticed this.

I currently have the WP and ALT pullies. Greddy. They are significantly lighter and larger than the stock pullies. I can take pictures if needed.
