I just received my 4 pt. Sparco harness and during installation I noticed that the snap-on bracket contacts the stock belt. My plan is to keep the OEM belt in the FD and snap the harness in for auto crossing.

My concern is the Sparco snap-on bracket wearing the OEM belt over time. I understand the eye bolts are recommended, but are there other approved alternatives?

I'd like to find something that will put some clearance between the two. Thoughts?

 

Anybody using different mount points or hardware?
