Hard starting, scraping sound, and blue smoke
Recently I have had trouble starting. It got to the point that I could not start the 7 anymore, until today. I was able to get it started by doing the un-flooding procedure. It started and I heard 4 scrapes and then the engine seized. I started it again and heard 4 more scrapes, then blue smoke shoots out the exhaust. I also noticed a little white smoke coming from the engine bay, near the turbos.
I believe that the coolant seals have finally gone, hence the trouble starting and blue smoke. What is the scraping? Could it be possible I am running on only one rotor? Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like you've lost a seal also...
Have you done a compression check?
If you intend to use the same housings when you rebuild, stop messing with it.. that scraping sound is probably the seal scoring the housings.
