you could wire it in to cycle with the thermal fan, or perhaps air conditioning relays, no?

Well, the Haltech doesn't run the oil metering pump, why should it run the smog pump?

Sorry if I didn't answer your question, I just don't understand why people go the Haltech route when the PFC + datalogit can pretty much do everything you need a tunable ecu to do without all the penalties of the Haltech.

And YES, your stock cat will clog without the smog pump. The amount of time that takes will depend on how you drive the car and the current condition of your cat.

but that is the key... PRETTY MUCH. Having a true standalone can be very convinient for tuning purposes.

if you found out the characteristics of how the smog pump was run, you could probably have it come on with another fuction.

Air conditioning can be set up to turn off under load, i would imagine the smog pump to only be operating under low load conditions?

Please correct my statements if i am wrong, im curious on the matter as well.

The PFC IS a true stand-alone. Please tell me what the Haltech can do that the PFC+datalogit can't.....
