HA! Flywheel is off.... screw the puller!!!

Well.... after I tryed once w/ my friends puller (which didn't fit) then he tryed to make me a puller at his machine shop..... messed up... couldn't get ahold of him I found Checker had somthing that would fit... tryed it and striped the bolts. Came to the board and did a search....

Found what I have read before... hit it w/ a hammer. But I never was able to find out how hard.... or what kind of hammer. I was wacking it like CRAZY w/ a rubber mallet before and stoped cause I was afraid I would hurt somthing.

Then I found the thread..... 5lb sledge eah? I have one of those! I went out... PUT THE NUT BACK ON A TINY BIT (very important) Geared up... hit it VERY straight on the pad part. 2 wacks at the top.... 2 wacks at the bottom and WHAM it was off!... took me all of about 1 min!

w00h00!!!.... now I have to find out how to get my seazed/destroyed pilot bearing out.

Get a pilot bearing puller and pull each piece out if possible.
