Guys who are Running the Simplified Sequential setup

How many check valves are used? From what the diagram shows it only 2. But..... there is a 3rd one that connects to the Purge Control but its metal. Its not plastic like the others. Can I replace that one with a plastic one? I just bought 4 from Dale and was just curious if i could reaplce that one with one of the plastic ones? Whats so special about that metal one? Do you even honestly need the purge control solenoid to have your sequential setup run correctly?

The purge control is not necessary for the seq. syst. to work but it does not effect driveability either. It is an emissions syst. to vent the fuel tank upon startup.
As far as the check valves, you only need the 2 for the seq. syst. to work. The purge control needs 1 and you can change it out or not. It's the same as the others, but as I said, it will not effect seq. operation. I would replace it just so everything looks the same

Non seq

If you run the Dontbearikki style non seq you wont have to run with a single one..i have been running it for well over 2 months now and havent seen any problems.

I just got rid of the purge control and all the emissions totally, I've just been running 2 with no problems.

You can use one of my Viton check valves for the aluminum PCV valve - I'm running one on my car for testing purposes, it's worked just fine. But, in general the aluminum one holds up well and just needs a cleaning if it's sticking. It has a ball and spring inside - just hose it down with some brake cleaner and it'll do well.

If nothing else, you have 2 spare check valves you can hook a buddy up with . BTW, Lesly, your check valves went out today.
