Question Guys with aftermarket steering column pods !

I just got this pod and I hate how it fits , is this normal ? both cut outs (upper and lower on both halves) are completly mis-aligned as you can see !

Mine is like that too. My friend told me that its because its an RE Amemiya Replica which were originally made only for RHD cars which have the signal/wiper stalks opposite to USDM.

That sounds about right. My RE A pod fits perfectly on my JDM car.

I have an authentic RE Amemiya pod and it's exactly like the one shown. I bought mine back in 2001 when Amemiya was the only one making a pod. Some US versions line up correctly, but the misalignment has really never been an issue with me.

The pictures in that thread are broken so I include them here:

If you have a RHD car, you need an RHD pod - the RE Amemiya is the only one, I believe. Pettit copied it and flipped it for the US market so the holes line up.

Good thing is you could easily get your money back selling that pod to someone in the US.
