Nope, unfortunately that wasn't me. But I do come down that way often.

What about a gathering up at Huntington Beach, one of the enclosed parking areas off PCH. Shouldn't be too busy this time of the year.

I'm in Tustin,

Near the mazda headquarters. We could meet at my place. I've got a large yard! See if we can fill the culdesack (sp?) with FD's. What do ya guys think. Several OC FD owners have already been to my place anyway, pretty centrally located. We could head to the Hills, or the beach for pictures... I'm down as soon as I get my new hood on!

OH NO, trouble is stirring up.

I think you guys should coordinate your get together along with the So Cal RX-7 club. They are the best group of guys and as far as I know there's a cruise along PCH starting in Long Beach comming up.

Trouble? Not us snobbish "behind the Orange Curtain" folk. Besides, this is more of a BBQ show-and-shine that those with blown side seals can even attend. Not a cruise, car rally, or poker run unless we decide to. Maybe coordinate the destination with SoCal7's so everyone hooks up.

Let's get a roll-call in the West Forum, get SoCal7's involved for sure, and find a central location. Beach sounds great and scenic for pics. Something that would accommodate our San Diego and SF valley rotor-heads. Maybe Doheny State Beach in Dana Point(Ortega Hwy is close by and you get killer sunset pics driving out on the jetty ) ) or more north like Huntington or Bolsa Chica with a fire-ring BBQ.

Gotta rub it in for the snow-bound peeps with a video....

I think it is the stock coating that they put on. I don't have anything else as far as tint on there. Seems like it only does it after I wash it and it's colder out. Hmmm.....or it could be that way most of the time.

But I did clean it from the inside. Maybe I'm just not good at housekeeping!

Nice. Looks exactly like my old FD. Silver imo is the color that truly brings out the form.

It's cause I drive the car when there's no one on the road!

Seriously, the bumper cover was just replaced and painted. Someone backed into it with an SUV, and left the ol' tell tale square trailer hitch mark on the bumper (but left no note). It was not anything major, just the paint was scuffed, and a slight tear in the skin. So I had the shop replace the skin and paint it. They did such a nice job in paint matching to the rest of the car, that even I can't tell the bumper was removed or painted. The rest of the car is all original paint. (WaxonWaxoff)!

So now, I drive about 20 car lengths behind people just to protect the front from rock chips. Annoys the crap outa people.

No kidding.. SUVs should come standard with truck mudflaps.
A nosemask breaks up the sculptured lines of the car.

I think that has to do with polarization of light, its nothing to worry about.

Man, making me think more and more I should stay stock instead of getting an aftermarket front end...
