guage cluster

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone can help me out. I have been searching up and down the site.

Someone had posted regarding replacing the gauge cluster with aftermarket custom made ones. These gauges fit in the OEM places on the cluster. I have been searching and can't for the life of me find it.

Thanks so much guys.

i havent tried them yet, but these guys do custom guages at a decent price.
http://www.speedhut.com/

my tach doesnt work properly, and rather than pull apart and resodder the stock one, im thinking of replacing it with this:
http://www.speedhut.com/custom_gauge...number-609.htm

its an 8k tach with built in progressive shift light, and you can get the guage face a variety of colors, im thinking a yellow or red guage face, similar to the way ferrari does theirs. i really like the bright contrasting tach in the center on the 458:

the only problem with this setup is that i dont think you can remove the stock tach and make room for the new one because of the circuit board across the back of the entire instrument cluster, and i want to retain all my other factory guages. i might have to mount the new tach directly in front of the old one maybe? would be nice if it could just fit in its place, but the aftermarket unit might be too deep.

so far i have not taken the dash apart to get measurements... its possible someone has posted them on the board, but when i searched i mostly got threads about bad tachs, not measurements.

I think you're looking for this:

Looked super nice, but expensive.

yeah thats the thread that gave me the idea, buti just want to replace my bad tach, not the rest of the factory guages.... the tach is only $169, so its not that bad.

Replacing the Tach with the speedhut one would be very simple. Very little modification to the original cluster will be needed.
