Gt Turbo Upgrade??

Choosing between twin turbo and single is one hell of hard decision. All the "lag theories" and Sequential and Non-Sequential things i've been hearing just arent making it any better. Anyway, i was looking around for a new twin turbo set-up this week. The most popular twin turbo set-up i came across were the M2 ballbearing twins and the Pettit High Flow twins... These are pretty much just upgraded turbos that fit the stock housing... right? They sound good, from what i read, more psi, higher flowing, and all that casting they do to make them last longer.

Well what if you wanted to go that "extra" step. I went to hksusa.com and looked under GT Upgrades, which from the picture, i am assuming are twin turbos...

The GT2530, for the 300zx, and the GT2835 for the supra.... No listing for an RX-7 thou...?? Can you put one of the HUGE twin turbo set-ups in an rx7? Has anyone done it?

You can do anything if you have the time and money to invest in it.

Don't bother with the Pettit twins - for the money you get no power. The M2 BB twins sound nice but will have to run at atleast 17-20 psi to get the power out of them. Since more oil is fed to them, they need a restrictor pill to help with smoking. The only dynosheet I've seen on them didn't pan out so well. Artguy on this forum has them but hasn't dynoed them yet. I would email Bryan at BNRSupercars.com about his hybrid twins. I'm getting a set and he know his stuff about turbos. He offers 1 year/unlimited mileage on his turbos and somebody has already dynoed at 386 rwhp at 15 psi without clipped turbine wheels which add another 10-15 rwhp. They are half the price of the other 2 places mentioned and put out real power. The HKS 2835s will not fit in the RX7 - they are wicked in the Supra though.

I beg to differ about the HKS GT 2835 turbos NOT fitting in the FD.

It's already been done in Japan and States.

With $, you can fit anything under the hood.

I have heard the RX-6 single see full boost by like 3200 RPM and can give up to 450 hp (can't remember fw, or Rw), which is sooner than a ******* old pair of twins. I am debating whether going BNR Hybrids, or spending the $$ for the RX-6 isamu.
