Groundzero lim to Cosmo 13B RE uim?

I was wondering what would be involved in mating up the Cosmo 13B RE upper intake manifold with the 20% bigger runners to the Groundzero/ Xcessive lower. Also I would like to use the Rotary works throttle body and an elbow from Feed. Any adapter plates out there or will I need to cut off my stock FD upper's flanges and weld them to the RE manifold? Any need to polish or port match the different parts? Anyone have pictures of the process/ final setup?

That sounds like an interesting setup, that would require a lot of port matching and work for not a whole lot of gain. I've thought about that exact setup for sometime myself and have wondered the same thing. But at that point, why not just do a custom upper intake, throttle body setup?

could be as simple as creating a custom sandwich adapter between the two no?

Exactly my thoughts, I'm planning on adding stronger threaded inserts on the lower anyways. Install adapter plate with flush mounted fasteners, then add some studs to the plate for the upper to attach to. I don't have the two parts together to compare port locations, hoping they're not too misaligned. So far, I favor the look of the RE manifold over the stock and custom welded ones. Any thoughts on the rotary-works throttle body?

Had both parts to do this but ditched the idea because it is mis-aligned by a good amount...not just the ports but the bolt holes too. I think it's doable if you want to spend enough money and time on it, but I'm afraid you would need to hack a good part of the Xcessive manifold off the top, enlarge the two middle runners to match the Cosmo runner size, weld on four new runners going to a Cosmo LIM flange...might be a better way, but that's the idea I had.
