grinding sound in reverse

Hi guys,

Just rebuild my car and it runs great. But the car makes a grinding noise in reverse and at slow speeds in first gear on ramps. Any idea hat it could be.
I have coilovers and someone said to me that my car maybe tilted to one side and that is effecting the transmission.

He might be completely wrong.

Where should I start looking.

Thanks guys...

If it's really a grinding, then there is probably damage to the rotating parts inside. And damage means metal bits. Drain the gear oil and replace it. Make sure to look for metal particles when pouring out the drain pan.

Are you sure this is not the normal sound of gear noise? R and 1st are always the noisiest.
