It could also be the A/C leaking.

double check all the coolant connection points.

look for loose clamps, whitish foam/dried coolant.

I know when I had a huge puddle of coolant my overflow tank was broken...
Check the line that goes into the AST that one tents to pinch and rip (especially is your running a aftermarket AST) which I hope you are. and if your not it might be the AST since its plastic.

or check if maybe the radiator drain plug is loose!

is your car over heating?

Get under the car, take off the under tray, look up from where the puddle is, shouldn't be too hard to find where the leak is.

thx for that, i will do that tomorrow when the sun comes up.

Info on the car:
my car was in the body shop for the last 2 months for paint job
it had about 1/4 tank of gas before i dropped it off
when i picked up the car, the shop told me my tank is empty from them moving the car around. and said i should fill up.
the car died on the way to the gas station 2 blocks after i exit the shop.
try to start up the car a few times, but it dies as soon as i put foot on the gas
went to gas station and filled up
went home and saw green stuff leaking out

Check your waterpump gasket too. had mine go once, was a bit tricky to pin point.

I'd find a different body shop if were you. You don't burn a 1/4 tank just moving a car around. Someone was probably out beating the **** out of your car. If you really know that little about cars I suggest you find a reputable shop that deals with sports cars on a regular basis. They'll be less apt to think your car is something cool to play with.

Have them find and fix the leek and then bring the bill to the body shop.

If it was my car and it took 2 months to get paint done then I picked it up and there was damage to the car someone at that shop would be picking up there teeth but that's just me.

about the leakage. Take off the bottom tray, its like...7-8 bolts or so, start the car and spot the leak. Its really simple.

I do most of my mechanical work myself. The VERY few times i drop any of my cars off, i write the milage down.
Also, if you have a datalogger connected to an aftermarket ECU, set it to record, and you will see what they have been up to.

I trust an undetonated landmine more than any shop out there. There has been countless times when they beat the hell out of a hot sportscar that has been dropped off.

A friend of mine had his 700hp Audi Urquattro dropped off for swapping out some old wires to headlights etc, and swapping gasket on the rear diff. When he came back 2 days later, the rear diff was shot, and the datalogger showed insane accelleration tests, 250+ kmph on highway(new gearset), tires had rubber stretched and torn from doughnuts etc...
Needless to say, he got a PRETTY hefty damage claim when he took it to court.

Sounds like someone had fun with your car. Did you write down your mileage before/after you took it to the shop?

Hope you wrote down the mileage when you drop off the car, might wanna take the car to a Rotary specialist for a full inspection.
