greddy wastegate

i have a greddy wastegate for my 93 rx-7, and i was wandering if installing the wastegate is difficult, or is it really necessary. my rx-7 is fully modified too.

Not unless you got a single turbo installed.

He means, You cannot instal it unless you get a single turbo or a custom manifold which has a runner (s) for an external wastegate.

Are you sure you have a wastegate and not a blow-off valve?

"fully modified" is an oxymoron

so most of you guys are sayin that the wastegate is only really used in a single turbo setup. ok i guess a single turbo will be the next thing to get

Stock twin turbos have an internal wastegate, most of single setups have an external WG, so no, you cannot put an ext. WG on your twins, if your twins are working fine there's no reason to get a single setup unless you shooting for 400 or more RWHP.

As you mantioned, your RX-7 is fully modified, what are the mods?

You're not even close to "fully modified" if you aren't single.
