I installed my blow off valve in my fd, and the whole reason I got this one over the hks is because the snappy, whistly sound it makes. Now for some reason I can't seem to make it make that soumd on mine. I know this is a very minor problem compared to all the other things we run into on these cars, but it is just annoying me a little.

 

I thought the HKS one WAS the snappy and whistly one?

I think you want the sound of the HKS super sequential blow off valve. The Greddy one just makes a loud pst sound.

The GReddy Type-S definitely has a whistle to it. Glass breaking? Never heard of a BOV that sounds like a window being smashed...

 

Yup, the infamous bov sounds all supra owners have lol.

I have the greddy type s sound, makes the car sound weak.
