Greddy pulley set problems - searched

Has anyone else heard of any problems with the greddy pulley set? I am trying to install mine, but I can't get the pulley to spin true. I think it was poorly machined.

edit: (the water pump pulley)

might be defective... how'd you install the pulley? i know on mine it was a tedious job because of the clearance of the water pump housing and the belt itself.

Is it a true Greddy pulley or an Ebay copy of it ? Did you buy it used or new ?

It is a true Greddy pulley. I bought it from the Rx7 store.

Define "spin true"...

Is it rubbing on your upper radiator hose?

It is as close as it can be without touching when it rotates around. I would say that it clears by less than ten-thousandths on one side. The other half of the rotation it is clear by about 125 thousandths.
