Question Greddy boost gauge install??

I am currently attemping to install the Greddy boost gauge in my steering column. I have 2 questions. The first one is, where should I mount the sending unit in the engine bay? Thats the little black box that the vaccume hose connects to and power gets run to the gauge from that. I haven't been able to find a suitable mounting spot. Secondly, where did you splice the power/ground wires onto. thanks

i mounted mine on the passenger side of the engine compartment ....then ran a vac. line straight from the uim nipple...then for power i used one of the acc. power fuses in the fuse block and just pushed the wire in with the fuse...

My Defi electronic boost gauge sensor is mounted right next to the stock MAP sensor. The vacuum line feeding it is T-ed off the line feeding the stock MAP sensor. The sensor is attached to the firewall using an existing hole. I can't help you with power leads since my sensor receives power through a lead to the Defi control unit mounted in the car.

There is no where to mount it there. Your piece must be different from mine.
