Question Greddy or Blitz FMIC or M2 MedSMIC?

Currently running a Greddy SMIC.Intake temp soars when idling in traffic. So I am considering a FMIC that does not require any cutting of the bumper and also not require the relocation of battery.I read in the Forum that the Greddy & Blitz FMIC is the perfect fit. Is that true? Need advice. Thanks

Yes, that's heat soak. That will happen when you have no air coming into the car, and it will happen with an FMIC since the car won't be moving. However, the temps should be less due to the location, but then you'll be restricting air to the radiator.

Some people have added fans to their SMIC's to aid with heat soak.

As for FMIC's, I hear the Blitz kit fits very well without too many headaches.

the greddy requires a much smaller battery or relocation. You do have to cut up the reinforcement and a bit of the bumper. I think the blitz or apex are the ones taht don't require a lot of mods? i'm not sure.
