Greddy 3 Row FMIC install

ok,
I have searched and everyone says that the 3 row is exactly like doing a 2 row but they couldnt be more different when it comes to the actual mounting. Could someone please let me know how to mount the core? even just the instructions from japan would be fine as long as I can see what brackets to use.

It's pretty straight forward, the core should have three mounting points on it. One where the hood latch is (top of core) located and two on the sides of the core.

i had mine installed so I dont know about mounting it, but I know they had to do some extensive trimming of the inside of the bumper to make it clear.

The only way it'd be different would be the bumper trimming. You take off the support rebar and it's *obvious* where it bolts on. I got one secondhand for my car, never having installed an FMIC on an FD, and it took me 5 minutes to figure out how everything routed. Trimming the bumper just right took about an hour of trial and error work and was the hardest part.

but this one doesnt go right behind the bumper, it sits on the other side of the support. I did a 2 row install, this is nothing like the two row... the 2 row is wider and has the mounting points already welded onto it so that was easy... this one has brackets and I dont know which one to use... thats why Im asking for help and/or pictures.

Mine was already mounted in the car but once I put it back in I plan on mounting it a little different and building ducting to force all the air I can thur it and the rad. and then out the hood vent.

you can see a few pics how it was mounted

thanks a bunch... that is a much better idea of how things are mounted... now I just need to make sure which brackets line up where.

Oh, you've got the old school 3 row kit then. Why didn't you say so?

I was looking at those pics and that looks nothing like my greddy 3 row. mine mounts up in front betweent the bumper and the front end here are some pics but it doesn't show much. You can see my i/c pipes going up and over my radiator. totaly different than the blue car in that other link

maverick has the old school 3 row setup and flamethrowingrotary and the rest of us have the more modern, larger, under-bumper 3 row.
