My friend just gave me one of those so I put it on. The welds were really crappy looking but i figure I might as well try it before spending more on a good one. I got i to fit using all stock studs exept the lower rear one. I think with some gussets and maybe a weld pass on the inside they could be ok downpipes. I have a feeling mine will crack since I just threw it on how it came.

Or, just shop around for a good used downpipe. I picked up a slightly rusty but totally functional Bonez downpipe some time back on Ebay for $40, and I was the ONLY one to bid on it. Just had it ceramic coated, and it's going on soon.

I've yet to be pleased with any of the cheap crap I bought off Ebay.

yeah, i never buy off ebay. I actually felt bad putting it on the fd since my S13 doesnt even have any ebay parts on it, lol. But it was just sitting at my friends house and my precat was rattling so on it went. Im sure ill change it out someday when a good deal on a nice one comes along, or when it cracks, haha.
