Got some questions about my new 7
Im new to this forum cuz i just bougth a 7, but it has sum mods on it and i got sum questions. These are the following mods
99 spec front lip
99 spec tail lights
carbon fiber hood
re amemiya intake
stock smic
greddy t/b elbow
3 in. blitz turbo back exhaust
aluminum radiator
aluminum ast
fan switch mod
850 primary injectors
1300 secondary injectors
nippon racing fuel pump
apex power fc ecu
act 4 puck clutch
8.5 pound flywheel
full ground control coiloever kit
new alternator, starter, ignition, 3 week old tires......
greddy boosta nd temp gauges
mazdaspeed shifter
i was wondering how much RWHP im looking at here on the stock boost levels or around stock boost levels cause i know with the exhust done it brings it up a little bit. also would anyone like to take a guess on how much i pick this up for cause it has bad compression??

on stock boost and still runing a stock cat I'd say you are at 260-280 RWHP (assuming the power FC is tuned. Get an IC and add a midpipe and you should be in the 300's.
Seems to me that car is almost ready to hit 15 lbs of boost (ignition, fuel pump, injectors). With a 15lb of boost and with all of the proper mods you should be seeing around 350 RWHP.

But for a good SMIC you don't have to stick to greedy. I'd say go with either a PFS, or ASP SMIC. Check the for sale section here.
on another note, compare your mods to other cars that have similar mods.

cool graph thingy, lots of help. but damn that sux that the intercooler is discontinued the reason i wanted that one was because i didnt want any headachs with fitting another brand intercooler and piping to the greedy t/b elbow.

all of the intercooler kits fit the greddy elbow. unless you get one for the stock piping. with the exception of any one-off elbows, Greddy is the only aftermarket elbow for this car. (Im 99% sure anyways).

For only $5k, it APPEARS to be a screaming deal, however, at that price I would worry about flood damage/salvage title.....
In any case, congratulations on your car. Lot's of knowledgable FD people in your general area. Don't blow it up.

Miles well on the body there is but im gonna be puttin in a new motor that is rebuild and ill be keeping my old one to rebuild it as well, so if that one goes i have a spare.
but as far as running no its not it has bad compression on the rear housing. and hopefully with this new motor it will be working fine. Yea the guy was moving to college station and needed it out of his parents house fast so i talk him down to five grand but with no intercooler.
salavage title is a negative it was a rich kid and his parents would have neither done such a thing believe me. but about the smic how come it wont work with my set-up cuz someone said it already that it would.

Some of the SMICs require a stock intake elbow connection -- these include the PFS and Pettit. Neither of those two ICs would work with your piping setup as is.
With the piping setup you have there, ICs that would work include the stock IC, the SR Motorsports, the Blitz, the Greddy (obviously), and the M2/ASP/Pettit Large (which would replace the hard pipe from the elbow to the IC with their own).
Good luck with your new car.

You didn't search very hard, there are definite differences between the ICs I listed....start here, old but still valid data:
